Beyond the File is a multi-disciplinary safeguarding consultancy practice based in the United Kingdom. We drive system improvement through person centred learning and reviews.

Founded in 2025 by Becca Clements and Kirsty Findlay, the practice brings over 30 years of combined experience across social work and mental health nursing.

1. **Statutory Reviews** — Independent management reviews, Domestic Homicide Reviews (DHRs) and Safeguarding Adult Reviews (SARs) conducted by Home Office certified DARDR Chairs and SCIE accredited SAR Reviewers.

2. **Training** — Bespoke safeguarding training programmes delivered with a trauma-informed approach, tailored to organisations and staff at every level across Health, Social Care and Criminal Justice.

3. **Audits and Clinical Reviews** — NICE-standard audits, desktop reviews and board-level quality assurance work to drive measurable improvement across Health and Social Care organisations.

4. **Safeguarding Supervision** — Reflective safeguarding supervision for practitioners and managers, providing expert independent guidance on complex adult and child safeguarding cases.

- **Becca Clements MSc** — Registered Mental Health Nurse. Experience includes Forensics, Acute Care Pathways, and Senior Safeguarding, Public Protection and Mental Capacity Practitioner for a large NHS Foundation Trust. Home Office certified DARDR Chair and SCIE accredited SAR Reviewer.

- **Kirsty Findlay MSc, LL.B** — Registered Social Worker. Experience across Health, Criminal Justice and Social Care including Youth Offending, CAMHS Harmful Sexual Behaviours, and MARAC Chair. Specialisms include domestic abuse, criminal justice, mental capacity and quality assurance.
